Details: Our client in Miami is in need of a Vendor & Information Security professional – direct hire.Responsible for overseeing the information security planning, assessment and risk analysis for the bank. Responsible for the Vendor Management and IT Asset Management programs. Serves as the bank-wide Contingency Plan Coordinator, coordinating all aspects of the banks contingency plans, including those not related to information systems. Responsible for all internal and external audits and examinations including finding and follow up reporting. Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline. Minimum five years working experience with information security, audit, compliance and/or related knowledge preferably in banking or a highly regulated industry. Broad operational knowledge of current information systems technology in a variety of platforms. Proven experience in disaster recovery planning, risk assessment, and policy writing. Ability to understand new laws and regulatory requirements and how they relate to security and compliance and present the overall risk to the company.
